Terms of service.

“The Pearl”, “we” and “us” means The Pearl Surf Retreat LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

The retreat itself — the Blue Pearl and White Pearl surf houses and all on-site services — is operated in Tamraght Oufella, Agadir region, Morocco. “You” means the guest making a booking, and every guest included in it.

We sell surf retreat stays: accommodation, meals, surf coaching, equipment and transfers, exactly as listed on the package page you book. These are services delivered in person, in Morocco, on the dates you choose — nothing on this site is a digital product, a membership or a subscription.

• A booking becomes a contract when we confirm your dates in writing (email or WhatsApp) and receive your deposit of €100 per guest.
• Your written confirmation is your proof of purchase. It states your dates, house, room and everything included.
• Prices are in euros (EUR) and include exactly what the package page lists — accommodation, stated meals, coaching, equipment and listed transfers.
• Flights, travel insurance, visas, personal spending and anything marked as an add-on are not included.
• The remaining balance is paid on arrival at the retreat, in cash (EUR or MAD).

• Online deposits are charged in euros (EUR) and processed securely by Stripe. We accept the major card networks Stripe supports. We never see or store your card number.
• The charge on your card statement will appear as THE PEARL SURF RETREAT (or a close variant your bank displays).
• Each deposit is a one-time charge. We do not run subscriptions, recurring billing or automatic renewals of any kind.
• If your card is charged in a currency other than EUR, your bank sets the exchange rate and any conversion fee.
• If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at hi@thepearlsurfretreat.com — billing questions are typically resolved within a few days, faster than a formal dispute.

Guests must be 18 or older to book. Minors are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf.

Surf coaching requires basic swimming ability. Tell us before arrival about any medical condition, injury or limitation that could affect your safety in the water — it never disqualifies you by default, it just lets the coaches plan properly.

Surfing, and being in the Atlantic generally, carries inherent risk — waves, currents, the seabed, other surfers and your own board. Our coaches are experienced, certified, and choose spots conservatively, but no one can make an ocean safe.

By booking you confirm that you understand and accept these inherent risks, that you'll follow the coaches' safety instructions in and around the water, and that participation in every activity is your own decision.

Travel insurance covering surfing and other water sports is required for all guests. We may ask for proof of cover on arrival. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent applicable law allows; we are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings, missed flights, or costs arising from events outside our control.

• Respect the houses, the team, the other guests and the village — Tamraght is a real community, not a resort compound.
• Quiet hours after midnight in the rooms; the rooftop conversation can keep going, just softly.
• No smoking inside the rooms. Outdoor areas are fine.
• Guests are responsible for damage to equipment or property beyond normal wear — boards ding, we get it; a snapped board from ignoring coach instructions is on you.
• We may end, without refund, the stay of any guest whose behaviour endangers or seriously disrupts others. It has never come to that. Don't be the first.

Our photographer shoots sessions and retreat life during the week. We'd love to use images that include you on our website and social channels — tell any team member (or write to us) if you'd rather not appear, and we'll keep you out of published shots. Your surf photo pack is yours either way.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms and is published at /policies/booking-policy.

Everything on this website — text, photography, branding and design — belongs to The Pearl Surf Retreat LLC and may not be reproduced commercially without our written permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; the retreat services themselves are performed in Morocco. Before anything gets formal, talk to us — every issue a guest has ever raised was solved over mint tea.
