Made for the way you want to travel.
The Pearl isn’t a franchise and it isn’t a hostel chain. It’s two surf houses on the Tamraght hillside — built by hand, run in person, and small enough that your week actually matters to the people running it.
The Pearl started with a simple frustration — watching visitors get processed through surf factories a hundred beds at a time — and a simple bet: that twelve guests, hosted like family, would beat a hundred treated like bookings. Every week proves it.
Tamraght is a small village between the mountains and the Atlantic. It's where the houses stand, and where the whole Pearl happens.
We built this site the same way we built the houses — ourselves. If something on your week isn't right, the person who can fix it is already at the table.

“Tamraght at golden hour — the walk home from the beach.”
Not a resort. A village with waves.
Tamraght is a small Amazigh village on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, ten minutes south of Taghazout’s famous point breaks and forty from Agadir’s airport. Bread still comes from the oven down the street. The call to prayer still drifts over the rooftops. The beach is a barefoot walk away.
Our two houses stand on the hillside above it all — rooftops facing the ocean, rooms facing the light. Staying here means staying in Morocco, not in a compound built to keep it out.

Built by hand, run in person.
The houses were raised floor by floor on the Tamraght hillside — rooftops aimed at the Atlantic, a bathroom inside every room, one long table at the heart of each house.
The week was designed around one idea: everything included, nothing to manage. The van to the morning break, the coaching that builds on yesterday, the dinner that runs long — all of it decided before you land, so nothing is decided by you.
And the people who made it are the people who run it. When something matters during your week, you talk to the person whose name is on it.

Six people, one family.
No reception desk, no name tags. These are the people who pick you up, coach you, cook for you and sit at the table with you — the same six faces all week.

Hicham
Digital Manager
Runs the digital side of your week — the site, the bookings, the answers on WhatsApp before you land.

Khalid
Retreat Manager
Runs the week so nothing needs running by you — from airport pickup to checkout.

Karim
Head Surf Coach
Reads the Atlantic every morning and decides where twelve people surf today.

Naima
Head Chef
Cooks the dinners guests write reviews about — tagines, Friday couscous, the long table.

Ayoub
Retreat Host
Coffee on, boards loaded, everyone in the van — the house runs easy around him.

Mohamed
Retreat Host
Knows every guest's name by the first dinner, and every good story in Tamraght.
Five things we won’t compromise.
The Pearl exists because most surf weeks feel like a product. Ours is a house you’re invited into — and these are the house rules we set for ourselves.
- 01
Small on purpose
Twelve guests a week, not a hundred and twenty. Coaches learn your name on day one and your bad habits by day two. That's the whole model.
- 02
Everything in, nothing later
One price covers the bed, the meals, the coaching, the gear and the van. The only decisions left are which wave and which seat at the table.
- 03
Real Morocco, not a resort
You stay in a village where people actually live — mint tea poured from height, bread from the oven down the street, the call to prayer over the rooftops.
- 04
Progress you keep
The same coach all week, building on yesterday. Guests leave reading the ocean, not just standing up once for a photo.
- 05
Hosted, not managed
The owners are in the house, at the table, in the van. Nothing here is outsourced — including the welcome.

Come surf with us.
Pick a week, pick a room, and let the people who built this place take care of the rest.
